Stéphane Vial was born in 1975 in Bourgoin-Jallieu, close to Lyon, France, and now lives in Paris. Graduate philosopher and psychologist, he is a teacher at École Boulle but also a creative director and an interactive project manager at LEKTUM Studio. He is the author of different essays, including a Short Treatise on Design, and various papers published in french social and human sciences journals.

PhD candidate at CERSES, « Centre de Recherche Sens, Éthique, Société » (Paris Descartes University, CNRS : UMR 8137), he is now preparing a doctoral thesis in philosophy about « The structure of digital revolution ».
