Reduplication

A new way of making philosophy

Reduplication is a new philosophical method I attempt to define since 2005, whose name comes from a concept of Danish thinker Søren Kierkegaard who wrote in his Diary : « To reduplicate is to be what you say » .

By « reduplicative philosophy », I mean a philosophy which reproduces itself in life, in practice, in society ; a philosophy whose thinking work aims at applying itself and serving the reality, by abandoning the metaphysics illusions and its unmotivated abstraction. That's why I sometimes name it applied philosophy, in order to underline its fundamentally « alloplastic » goal, that is to say which aims at giving up the only « pleasure of thought » in order to influence the external environment and the concrete life.
